We are looking for fun, enthusiastic and motivated candidates who have the drive to become a great teacher, and to work alongside our experienced teachers. Working with children, you'll be based at one of our two bright, spacious and modern academies in the province of Seville.

Ideally, you will have an advanced or fluent in English, and have some experience of working or dealing with children.

This position is for a 10 month internship, during which you will gain insight into how to be a great EFL teacher, working with children, teens and young adults. You´ll be teaching in one of our two academies in the province of Seville.

You will:

Teach English lessons with children from 2-18 years of age and young adults.

Help with course and class planning outside the classroom

Create and produce classroom resources such as flashcards, posters etc

Contribute to the overall assessment of the students by writing reports and giving feedback to supervisors on students' progress.

Observe classes to help gain knowledge of classroom management and discipline.

Learn how to impart the content of the class in a fun and enthusiastic way which keeps the children/students engaged and participating.

Improve your knowledge of the grammar of the English language and how to best help students to reach their goals in speaking, listening, writing and reading.

Prepare older students for official Cambridge English exams, and receive instruction on the techniques for these exams and the knowledge needed to do well.

Learn about games, activities and pair work exercises to keep your class having fun and learning at the same time.

You will be monitored and observed by our heads of studies, who will give you help and support throughout the duration of the internship.

You will receive initial training for the first week, then regular sessions throughout the school year.

The internship starts on August 26th 2024, until June 26th 2025. We follow the school calendar in Seville, with the same holiday periods.

You´ll be working mainly in the afternoons (15.30-21.00), teaching classes and meeting with your mentor or supervisor. There are a few morning classes in local nurseries, which you will also be trained for. Maximum hours are around 30 per week.

We have two academies, one is located in the emblematic district of Triana, the other in a small town located 15/20 minutes away (Espartinas). We have 8 classrooms in each academy, which are bright, spacious and equipped with the latest technology and everything you need for your classes. 

You´ll meet the other teachers and interns in our multinational academies, we currently have interns and permanent teachers/staff from all over the world - Brazil, Croatia, Latvia, USA, UK, Denmark, Romania and other countries. We speak English, although you´ll be able to improve your Spanish living in the local community.

Although we don´t provide accommodation, we do help interns to find rented rooms or apartments, and give any support that we can.
