The Job Platform of the Erasmus Generation

ErasmusJobs.org brings together the Erasmus Generation and employers. Created by the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) the website focuses on increasing the employability of students who have experienced a mobility exchange, highlighting its beneficial effects to future employers. The platform wants to facilitate the interaction and application process between Erasmus+ graduates and employers recruiting young people with an international mindset.

  • Helps students in the creation of an attractive profile, highlighting skills gained through mobility experiences, volunteering and other extracurricular activities.
  • The detailed profile helps employers to recruit talent with matching skills, educational background and experiences.
  • The platform provides career offices and universities with a concrete tool to support students in the creation of a competence profile and the transition to the labour market.

How does it work?

Jobseekers
(Erasmus recent graduates, alumni and students)

  1. Create an account through this link.
  2. Enter your personal details, choose a password and select the ‘Jobseeker’ profile, then click on ‘Create new account’.
  3. Validate your account by clicking on the link that you received by email.
  4. Once your account is validated, fill in your jobseeker profile by clicking on the ‘Edit your…’ or ‘You can add…’ links of each section.

    In the ‘Personal information’ section, you can choose to make your profile public (allowing you to share the link with anyone) or private. In the ‘Experience’ section, you can add ‘Work experience’ as well as ‘Education, training and volunteering’ experiences. You can also mention if it took place under a mobility programme. Of course you can add your mother tongue and other languages, but also ‘Tools’, ‘Competences’ and even ‘conferences’, ‘projects’, ‘publications’, etc. you participated in, in the ‘Additional information’ section.

    You can also share your profile via social media by clicking on the 'Social media share' buttons at the bottom of your profile.

  5. Browse job offers at this link.
  6. To apply to a job offer, click on the ‘Apply’ button on the top of the job offer page, add your motivation letter, select your work permit status and click on ‘Submit application’. Your application is now submitted, the company will review your application.

Recruiters

  1. Create an account at this link.
  2. Enter your details, choose a password and select the ‘Recruiter’ profile, then click on ‘Create new account’.
  3. Validate your account by clicking on the link that you received by email.
  4. Once your account is validated, you have to join a company by clicking on ‘create a new one’ or ‘join an existing one’. There you have 3 options:
    1. joining a company with the same email domain as yours,
    2. request to join another company
    3. or create a new company.
  5. To join a company, select the company then click on ‘Request to join’. To create a new company, click on ‘New company’ at the bottom of the page. Enter the details of the company and click on ‘Create Company and become a member’. We will then review your company, this can take up to 7 days. Please, contact us if there’s any issue during the process.
  6. Once your company is approved, you can view your company’s profile by clicking on the ‘View’ tab (change the status to published and click on ‘Apply’ to make it public), edit your company’s profile by clicking on the ‘Edit’ tab, view members of your company by clicking on the ‘Members’ tab, invite members to join your company by clicking on the ‘Invitations’ tab, manage your membership requests by clicking on the ‘Membership requests’ tab, manage your job offers by clicking on the ‘Job Offers’ tab.
  7. To add a job offer, click on ‘Add Job offer’ in the main menu on top, fill in the details and click on ‘Save’. To review job applications, click on ‘Review job applications’ in the main menu on top.
