By using ErasmusJobs.org the user accepts and agrees to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions of Use (hereafter T&C) of the services provided by ErasmusJobs.org. Please read these T&C carefully, and contact us if you have any questions.
If you continue to browse and use ErasmusJobs.org, you signify that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by these T&C. Therefore, any participation in this website will constitute full and irrevocable acceptance of the T&C. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this site.
The terms “us” or “we” or “our” refer to the owner of the website, ESN AISBL. The terms “you” or “your” refer to the User of the website.
- Associates shall mean any natural person or legal entity that cooperates with ESN for the purposes of ErasmusJobs.
- Cookie shall mean a file saved on the User’s computer, which records necessary information for the best function of the website. This file is sent by the Server to the browser used by the user at the time and is saved in their computer. Cookies have a predefined duration.
- Professional User shall refer to companies, organisations, HEIs or other similar entities who are offering jobs, or providing special offers to jobseekers.
- Third-party users shall refer to companies, organisations or other similar entities who are looking to offer jobs and/or seeking interns other than their own legal entities, for example for their customers and/or partners.
- Server shall mean the required hardware and/or software for the programming, hosting and publishing of the platform.
- Single User shall refer to all individual persons in general who are looking for or browsing jobs and jobs opportunities.
- Job shall refer to the presentation or projection of an opportunity for training of the Professional User, as described by them on the website for the duration agreed.
- User shall refer to both the single and professional user.
- Website, ErasmusJobs, site, media, platform, project shall refer to the webpage http://erasmusjobs.org which is hosted, powered and maintained by ESN and will host, present, transmit and project the available jobs.
4. Registered Owner
ErasmusJobs is owned and maintained by Erasmus Student Network AISBL, registered office address: Rue Joseph II / Jozef II-straat 120, 1000 Brussels, Belgium. Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is a non-profit international student organisation. Our mission is to represent international students, thus providing opportunities for cultural understanding and self-development under the principle of Students Helping Students.
5. Limitations on use
By using this online platform and its services users confirm they are, at least, 18 (eighteen) years old. Otherwise, users can still use the services of this platform in conjunction with, and under the supervision of, their parent(s) or guardian(s). If you do not qualify, please stop using ErasmusJobs.org and its services.
Any individual who qualifies for the aforementioned requirements is free to surf through this website. Notwithstanding, only fully registered users with a valid membership from one of our active Local Sections will be entitled to get access to the advantages, benefits and any other services offered in ErasmusJobs.org.
ErasmusJobs services are made available for personal use. Users should not use without permission ErasmusJobs services to sell products or services or to increase traffic to another website for commercial reasons (sales, promotion, advertising, etc.). Do not under any circumstances use the research results of reuse by ESN and display services, ErasmusJobs or ESN duplicate pages on users’ websites. If a user wants to incorporate or replicate the services ErasmusJobs on another website, he/she must enter into a contract with Erasmus Student Network AISBL. 6.1. Description of services
ErasmusJobs is a platform designed to match companies or other organisations offering employment opportunities to jobseekers.
The ErasmusJobs platform is not designed to match Third-party Users looking to match their customers' and/or partners' available jobs to single users seeking jobs. Any such activity is prohibited and the Owner has the right to at any moment deny, unpublish or exclude such content that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
6.2. Content used and disseminated by ErasmusJobs.org
The sites and/or content referenced in the search results or offered as links by ESN can be created by any Professional User over whom Erasmus Student Network AISBL has no control, hence, no liability. In the same way, anyone leaving a comment on this site is free and entirely responsible for the content of these comments.
All ErasmusJobs content (images, pictures and logos) is protected by copyright. Copying of our logos and/or any other third party logos, and content accessed via this website and publishing it elsewhere is not permitted without prior written approval from ESN or the relevant copyright owner. We also do not permit the use of our logo as a link without prior permission.

Only the user is responsible for the content determined and made available for publication by him in terms of infringement of press, competition rights and other rights. By registering, the user confirms that he has obtained licenses from the owners of copyright and other rights required or possesses all necessary rights for publication of the documents, information and data made available by him on the internet.
The Professional User assigns to ESN a non-exclusive worldwide license to reproduce and publish the whole or part of the jobs for the purpose of the Platform and also assigns a non-exclusive worldwide license to reproduce and publish the whole or part of the job offers for the purpose of ESN promotion of services.
ESN can and will use the overall statistics of the job offer without the prior written notice of the Professional User and for the purpose of marketing and promotion of ESN and ErasmusJobs. In cases where the Professional User does not agree with this policy, he has to notify that in writing ESN.
The Professional User grants ESN a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide right and license to use, reproduce, perform, display and distribute all job offers and related information provided including any trademarks, service marks, logos or other source or business identifiers, during and after the term of each campaign to limited audiences for demonstration purposes only and also use each name, in a factual and non-disparaging manner, in lists produced for promotional or marketing purposes.
6.3. Registration and access to the website
You may browse ErasmusJobs and view content without registering, but as a condition to using certain aspects of the website, you are required to register with ErasmusJobs and warrant that you provide ErasmusJobs with accurate and truthful registration information (e-mail address and the password you will use to access the service). You have to keep your registration information accurate and up-to-date. You shall not:
- provide any false personal information to ErasmusJobs (including a false e-mail) or create an account for anyone other than yourself without such person's permission;
- use another person information with the intent to impersonate that person;
- use an ErasmusJobs account that is subject to any rights of a person other than you without appropriate authorization;
- use an ErasmusJobs Professional User account to offer jobs and/or seek interns for any other legal entity than your own;
By registering to ErasmusJobs you agree that you are at least 18 years old at the moment of registration.
8. Prohibition of automated queries
The users agree that any notice, agreement, disclosure or other communications that we send to them electronically will satisfy any legal communication requirements, including that such communications be in writing.
9. Rights and Obligations
9.1. Owner’s rights and obligations
ESN will take all due care and diligence and use best efforts to ensure that the material hosted and published on the Platform will be available exactly as provided by the Professional Users with no interruptions. ESN will take all due care to ensure that the website is in line with all terms and conditions hereby listed.
ESN may at its sole discretion deny the provision of services (hosting, or other) to the Users, in cases where the information does not comply with the terms and conditions, or when the content is unlawful, disrespectful, discriminating and/or against the principles of ESN and exchange programmes.
ESN warrants and represents that it will not accept jobs that advertise, promote, produce, provide or link to adult content, promote or facilitate illegal activities including but not limited to Internet piracy.
9.2. Professional User’s rights and obligations
The Professional User and hereby grant to ESN a worldwide, non-exclusive free licence to reproduce and display on any media properties the jobs or any other content provided (including all contents, trademarks and brand features contained therein) for the sole purpose of publishing on ErasmusJobs according to the present T&C and any other terms that might be agreed upon in a separate contract.
The Professional User must provide ESN with all the content material that is needed and has been agreed between them in due time and in accordance with the technical and other requirements and specifications of the Platform. The Professional User is, in any case, the sole responsible for the soundness of their creative material and actual content and in case this does not comply with the requested technical requirements or agreed terms, ESN has no obligation to provide and has the right to deny its Services.
The jobs shall in no way contain anything that is or is considered to be misleading, offensive, defamatory, false, unethical or obscene and it will not violate any third party’s intellectual property or other rights.
The Professional User shall not charge or require users on the platform or outside of it a direct or indirect financial or other types of fee to partake in the jobs published on the ErasmusJobs platform. ESN has the right to unpublish and remove any content that breaches this requirement, as well as reject future access to the ErasmusJobs platform to any Professional User that does not comply with this requirement.
The Professional User warrant and represent that they are solely responsible for any legal liability arising out of or relating to the jobs provided hosted and hereby agree to indemnify, defend and hold ESN harmless, as well as the Platform, the officers, directors, agents, publishers, affiliates and employees from and against all claims, actions, liabilities, losses, expenses, damages, and costs (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys' fees) that may at any time be incurred by any of them by reason of any claims, suits or proceedings including but not limited to libel, defamation, violation of right of privacy or publicity, copyright infringement, trademark infringement or other infringement of any third party right, fraud, false advertising, misrepresentation, product liability or violation of any law, statute, ordinance, rule or regulation throughout the world in connection with the content of the jobs, arising out of any material breach, representation or warranty under any agreement with ESN.
In cases where the Professional User cannot respect their obligations under these T&C and/or the separate agreements, due to force majeure, they must notify ESN for any such reason within 15 days from the date the action commenced. It is hereby acknowledged and agreed that any delays of the suppliers or any other third parties with whom the professional user co-operates for the purposes of ErasmusJobs, do not constitute force majeure.
The Professional User warrants and represents that:
- They are the owner or are licensed to use the entire contents and subject matter.
- The jobs contained therein do not violate any law or regulation governing false or deceptive advertising, do not contain any misrepresentations or content that is defamatory or violates any rights of privacy or publicity, do not contain any child pornography or link to such content or link to software piracy or link to any form of illegal activity (i.e., how to build a bomb, hacking, etc) nor do they contain any gratuitous displays of violence, obscene or vulgar language, and abusive content or content which endorses or threatens physical harm, any content promoting any type of hate-mongering (i.e., racial, political, ethnic, religious, gender-based, sexuality-based or personal), do not and will not infringe any copyright, trademark, patent or other proprietary rights, comply with all applicable law and regulations, Codes of Ethics and fair Practices applicable in the market.
- They will obtain all required licences to create such jobs, and that they will only create jobs for their own legal entities.
- They are the sole ones responsible for the contract and realisation of the terms provided for, presented and hosted in the Platform.
- Explicitly guarantee that the jobs do not violate any third party’s intellectual property and/or other rights.
- They have full legal power and authority to enter into this agreement and will comply with all applicable laws related to the provision of jobs and/ or services online.
- They have read, comprehended, acknowledged and agreed with the present T&C as well as with the terms and conditions specified in any separate agreement with ESN.
10. Prohibition of automated queries
Erasmus Student Network AISBL accepts no liability, particularly related to the accuracy, content, completeness, legality, reliability, or operability or availability of information or material displayed in the results obtained by the ErasmusJobs services. Erasmus Student Network AISBL accepts no responsibility for the deletion, failure to store, transmit incorrect or inappropriate transmission of such information or data. Erasmus Student Network AISBL accepts no responsibility for any harm resulting from downloading or use of information or data available on the Internet through the services of ErasmusJobs.org, nor for any failures, delays or interruptions in these services.
The information on our web pages is provided for convenience as part of the service we offer at this website. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information contained on these pages. Neither we nor our staff will be responsible for any misleading, false or otherwise injurious information and advice communicated on the site or for any results obtained from the use of such information or advice. We will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by the user through the user’s reliance on any such content available on or through any such site or resource.
We will not be responsible, or liable to any third party, for the content or accuracy of any materials posted by you or any other user of the website (especially regarding information in the profile and job offers). You are solely responsible for the content you upload. We have the right to remove any material or posting you make on the Website if, in our opinion, such material does not comply with the content standards set out in our acceptable use policy.
We also have the right to disclose your identity to any third party who is claiming that any material posted or uploaded by you to the Website constitutes a violation of their intellectual property rights, or of their right to privacy.
In no event will ESN be responsible in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise for loss of profits, business, contracts, revenues, goodwill, production and anticipated savings or any indirect, consequential, special or economic loss of any kind arising from any failure to publish or host in a timely manner or at all any job or from any faults, omissions, technical problems and malfunctioning attributed to the Platform, Internet Service Providers or delays in the transmission or storage.
Without limiting the foregoing, ESN will have no liability for any failure or delay resulting from any governmental action, fire, riot, any other act of God or any other condition beyond the control of ESN affecting provision of services, production or delivery in any manner.
ESN does not give any guarantee in relation to a) the properness of the jobs b) the legality of the jobs hosted and the non-infringement of third party rights c) any viruses or fatal errors of the media systems.
We care about the security of our users. While we work to protect the security of your content and account, ErasmusJobs cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security measures. Please notify us immediately of any compromise or unauthorized use of your account.
ErasmusJobs may contain links to third-party websites or other events or activities that are not owned or controlled by ErasmusJobs or ESN. We do not endorse or assume any responsibility for any such third-party sites, information, materials, products, or services. If you access any third-party website, service, or content from ErasmusJobs, you do so at your own risk and you agree that we don’t have any liability arising from your use of or access to any third-party website, content or service.
Users agree to indemnify and hold the Erasmus Student Network AISBL and its related organisations, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, agents and merchant partners harmless from and against any third-party claim or cause of action, including reasonable attorneys' fees and court costs, arising, directly or indirectly, out of your use of ErasmusJobs.org services or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
11. Changes to these Terms & Condition
Erasmus Student Network AISBL is intended to ensure the continuity and quality of services it offers. However, The Erasmus Student Network AISBL reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions anytime and anyhow, always according to law. In this case scenario, ESN will inform the users accordingly by contacting them at the email address provided in their profile.
By the simple fact of continuing to use ErasmusJobs.org and the services it provides, the user intrinsically accepts and agrees to the changes to these Terms & Conditions.
The most current version of these Terms & Conditions will be permanently accessible - except for force majeure - from the footer of the homepage of ErasmusJobs.org (https://www.erasmusJobs.org) under the link “Terms & Conditions”.
12. Disputes and Governing Law
The parties shall in good faith resolve with an agreement any difference that might arise between them with regard to the services, using any technical, legal or other way they deem adequate
You agree that these terms of service or any claim, dispute or controversy (whether in contract, tort or otherwise, whether preexisting, present or future and including statutory and equitable claims) between you and ESN arising from or relating to these Terms and Conditions, their interpretation or breach, termination or validity, the relationships which result from them, ErasmusJobs.org and its services or any related transaction shall be governed by and construed per the laws of Belgium.
Any difference between the parties concerning the application, interpretation, invalidity of the T&C, the constitution or not of rights and obligations of the parties from the contract or from tort, is interpreted according to the Belgian Law and is under the sole jurisdiction of the Courts of Brussels, to which the parties are subject willingly.
13. General Terms
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck, and the remaining provisions shall be enforced. Headings are for reference purposes only and in no way, define, limit, construe or describe the extent or scope of such section. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms & Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision. These Terms & Conditions set forth the entire understanding and agreement between you and ESN with respect to the subject matter hereof.
