Our team works across various domains, including electricity, renewable gas, carbon offsets, biofuels and energy efficiency. We engage with clients in different markets and countries on a daily basis and it's our job to understand their needs and translate them into effective, efficient solutions.

 

What will be the tasks?
You will be integrated into our Sales Trading team, which aims to support and meet the expectations of the players and make the renewable energy market more transparent. Your job will be to assist the multiple trading desks in developing and pursuing new business opportunities while gaining a good knowledge of the different environmental and energy products.
You will have the privilege of working on the front lines of the energy transition and energy capital markets and building your experience in these promising fields.

Your main tasks will include:
- Cold calling, matching buyers with sellers, and ultimately closing deals.
- Building a portfolio and being in charge of your own clients portfolio with a profit (PnL) target to achieve.
- Being an expert in timing the market in order to get the best results by acting as a single point of contact for your customer portfolio as much as to your teammates.
- Proposing new deal structures complying with market’s requirements.​

 

What is your profile?
- German is your mother tongue and you have an excellent level of English (C1/C2); other languages will be a plus.
- You are completing a Master's degree in Trading, a Master's degree in Market Finance, a Master's degree in Energy Management or an Engineering degree in Market Finance.
- You have outstanding sales and interpersonal skills and a commercial attitude. You are proactive, energetic, ambitious, outgoing, extremely curious and not afraid to approach people. Last but not least, you are a fast learner.
- Previous experience in trading, brokerage and business analysis is welcome.
- You are interested in a long-term opportunity.

 

When and where?
You will be available in Paris for 6 months 5 days a week starting in September.
