Internship position
Every month we have new internships and graduation project positions available for MSc and BSc students. They are published at our website www.wetsus.eu. The length of your internship has to be at least three months. Details depend on your study discipline and the project.
During your internship at Wetsus, you will work on a challenging research topic under the supervision of one of our PhD students. Besides working on your own project, you will have the opportunity to get a great insight in working at an institute for sustainable water technology and to get acquainted with working in a multidisciplinary environment.
Your future colleagues come from all over the world to Leeuwarden, creating a lively and international environment.

What does Wetsus focus on?The Wetsus research program on sustainable water technology focusses on:
- Sustainable water supply
- Waste water treatment and reuse
- New water sources
- Reuse of components and production of energy- Detection of pathogens and micro/nano pollutants

- Salary range: 200 to 200 EUR/month
There is a Wetsus Grant. For exceptional cases, a Wetsus grant (of an extra €200 per month max) is limitedly available. For more information you can email to [email protected].
This is only applicable if you do not have any other grant (erasmus, erasmus mundos etc.)
There is free soup and milk/butter milk. We have a table tennis in our common atrium, there are personnel drinks organized and more personnel activities.
